Dr. C. C. Wei joined TSMC in 1998 and currently serves as President and Co-Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his recent appointment, Dr. Wei was TSMC's Co-Chief Operating Officer from March 2012 to November 2013. From 2009 to 2012, he was TSMC’s Senior Vice President of Business Development. Before that, he was Senior Vice President of Main Stream Technology Business.
Before joining TSMC, he was Senior Vice President of Technology at Chartered Semiconductor and Senior Manager, Logic and SRAM technology development at ST Microelectronics.
C. C. Wei received B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Chiao Tung University. And later he was awarded his PhD by Yale University. |
