Dr. Xiaojun Zhang is the Chairman and Co-founder of Arrayed Materials (China) Co., Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
With extensive experience in semiconductor materials and equipment R&D, Dr. Zhang previously served as:
Senior R&D Engineer at Applied Materials (a Fortune 500 company and the world's largest semiconductor
manufacturing equipment supplier).
Senior Principal R&D Engineer at Western Digital (a Fortune 500 company and the world's largest hard
disk drive manufacturer), where he received an exceptional promotion.
His research collaborations span globally renowned institutions, including:
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (USA);
National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures, Nanjing University (China).
Key Achievements:
Author of more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in materials science;
Holds over 250 patents in China and the U.S.;
Recipient of multiple Technology Invention Awards at Western Digital and Applied Materials, and awarded the Anselmo John Macchi Scholarship by UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering;
Recognized as a National Innovation & Entrepreneurship Talent (2020) by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology;
