Dr. Barak Bringoltz

Director of Modeling Technology, Nova measuring instruments


Dr. Barak Bringoltz is the Director of Modeling Technology of Nova measuring instruments. He leads Nova's Machine Learning R&D group and manages the company's Big Data activities with the focus of using advanced algorithms to solve customer metrology and process control problems. With 15 years of experience in R&D, Dr. Bringoltz published over 35 papers and owns 25 patents. Prior to joining Nova, Dr. Bringoltz held various R&D roles at KLA-Tencor, leading it’s overlay accuracy program. Barak holds a BSc and a PhD in physics from Tel-Aviv University, and served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Peierls physics institute at the University of Oxford (UK), and at the physics department of the University of Washington (Seattle).
