Zhigang Wang

Zhigang Wang is the Head of Etch, Thin Film (TF), and the Equipment Empowerment Team (EET) at MRDI, bringing two decades of semiconductor equipment leadership and hands-on operational experience. A 2006 master's graduate from Xi'an Jiaotong University, he spent 18 years at Applied Materials, progressing from 300mm silicon process R&D at Santa Clara headquarters to directing the Xi'an Demo Lab, where he managed tool installations, retrofits, and global demo support. Prior to joining MRDI, he served as Etch Business Development Lead at NAURA Technology Group from 2024 to 2025, expanding commercial adoption of 200mm and 300mm etch systems. Throughout his career, he has successfully built a deep track record bridging technical application development, lab management, equipment empowerment, and strategic business growth. |
