With the vigorous development of the global semiconductor industry, especially driven by new energy vehicles, 5G/6G, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence and other fields, the demand for the semiconductor market is increasingly strong. However, while China's integrated circuit industry is developing rapidly, it also faces problems such as scarce high-quality talents, long talent training cycles, and a lack of talent training systems. In order to overcome these talent bottlenecks, SEMI has launched Workforce Development and collaborated with enterprises, academia, and government departments to jointly promote talent attraction, cultivation, and retention in the semiconductor industry.
