As the global semiconductor industry enters a new phase of the growth cycle, driven by rapid advances in artificial intelligence, 5G/6G communications, and autonomous driving, a critical challenge persists beneath the prosperity: China’s integrated circuit sector continues to face a structural shortage of high-quality talent, a mismatch between training systems and industry needs, and insufficient mechanisms for talent retention—issues that increasingly constrain innovation and sustainable development.

To address these pressing challenges strategically, SEMI China is pleased to convene the WFD CXO Talent Forum on March 27, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:35 AM, at Pudong Ballroom 5, Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. SEMI WFD IC Industry Job Fair

SEMI China cordially invites all exhibiting enterprises to participate in the specialized dual-selection meeting (Talent Matchmaking Event) held on the afternoon of March 27th during SEMICON Shanghai. This event aims to build a direct bridge between semiconductor enterprises and university talent, providing a centralized and efficient platform for talent recruitment.

The SEMI China WFD (Workforce Development) Program Study Tour will commence from March 25th to 26th. We will organize university students to enter the semiconductor industry's premier event, immerse them in the industrial ecosystem, facilitate in-depth dialogue with enterprises, and help students gain insights into their career futures.
