Dr. Yasin Ekinci

Yasin Ekinci is the head of the Laboratory for X-ray Nanoscience and Technologies at Paul Scherrer Institute. The lab hosts 6 research groups, about 80 people and operates 3 synchrotron and X-ray FEL beamlines. He obtained his Ph.D. at Max-Planck Institute in Göttingen, Germany. He worked on various topics of nanoscience and technology, including atom optics, surface science, EUV lithography, resist materials, coherent scattering, lensless imaging, plasmonics, metamaterials, semiconductor nanostructures, biosensors and nanofluidics. He is author/co-author of more than 300 publications, including papers, book chapters, and patent applications. He received Young Investigator Award of Swiss Society for Optics and Microscopy. He is a fellow of SPIE. |
