Dr. XinPei Lu

XinPei Lu is a Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. He is a Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China. His research focuses on the fundamental physics, diagnostics, modeling, and applications of low-temperature plasmas. Prof. Lu has published more than 200 SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author. His publications have received over 21,000 citations on Google Scholar, with an H-index of 72. Since 2014, he has been continuously listed among Elsevier's Highly Cited Chinese Researchers. His research has attracted extensive international attention and has been highlighted by major scientific media and organizations, including Science, Nature, and the American Institute of Physics (AIP). He has authored one English monograph and two Chinese monographs, and holds approximately 20 granted invention patents, several of which have been transferred for practical applications. Prof. Lu has delivered around 100 plenary, keynote, and invited presentations at major international conferences, including conferences in plasma medicine and the IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS). He has also served five times as a Minicourse lecturer at international conferences such as ICOPS and ICPM, providing systematic lectures on low temperature plasmas and their applications. As a principal investigator, Prof. Lu has led more than 50 research projects, including General and Key Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, projects under the National Key R&D Program of China, and subprojects of National Science and Technology Major Projects. |
