Dr. Guangquan Lu holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. He currently serves as the Chairman of Piotech, Inc.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Lu served as Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Aixtron U.S. subsidiary for over 7 years, and held positions including Senior R&D Manager at Novellus Systems for over 11 years. He holds more than 30 invention patents, including over 10 U.S. patents.
With over 30 years of R&D experience in semiconductor thin film deposition technology, Dr. Lu spent nearly 20 years in the semiconductor equipment industry in Silicon Valley. He has long been dedicated to the research, development, and commercialization of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) thin film equipment, with multiple products widely adopted across the industry.
