Penghong Ci is a Professor (研究员) at the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on defect physics in low-dimensional semiconductors, ferroelectric materials, and optoelectronic devices. In recent years, he has published papers in PRL, Nat. Commun., Nano Lett., among others.
