讲师简介 / Speaker Bio TAI Atsuko leads fluoropolymer recycling initiatives at the Chemicals Division, Daikin Industries Ltd., supporting circular economy solutions for the semiconductor industry. After starting her career as a process engineer, she has led chemical business development and sustainability-related initiatives for over 10 years, bridging technical expertise with advocacy strategy and End-of-Life management perspectives. Leveraging close collaboration with partners across the semiconductor sector, she works to translate complex environmental challenges into practical and scalable solutions as a materials manufacturer. 摘要 / Abstract Fluorochemicals are widely used across the semiconductor industry. As discussions on PFAS regulations continue to advance, providing science-based information, along with End-of-Life (EoL) management and recycling of upstream materials, is becoming increasingly crucial for innovative and sustainable growth of the semiconductor industry. This presentation introduces upstream initiatives for stakeholder engagement and practical insights into EoL management of fluorine-based materials, as well as integrated recycling initiatives covering fluorite, refrigerants, and fluoropolymers. |
