讲师简介 / Speaker Bio Dr. Hyun-don Jung is a compound semiconductor expert with over 35 years of experience in epitaxial crystal growth and optical characterization. His career began in 1990 at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT), where he focused on ZnSe and InP-based optical devices for 10 years using MBE. In 2001, he co-founded Epiplus, a company specializing in the manufacture and sale of LED epiwafers using MOCVD technology. He also developed a photoluminescence (PL) mapping instrument to analyze the produced epiwafers. Building on this technology, he founded EtaMax again in 2009. EtaMax has grown into a global leader in optical inspection systems, and its PL mapping instrument, PLATO, has become essential for compound semiconductor manufacturing. EtaMax merged with HORIBA in April 2025, and he currently serves as Head of Metrology Research at HORIBA STEC Korea. |
