Yunpeng Yin has been with Lam Research since 2020 and currently serves as a senior process director. Prior to joining Lam Research China, Yunpeng had over 12 years experiences (2007-2019) in advanced logic nodes in TD and yield ramping phases across etch module, process integration, device and yield ramping. He worked at IBM Research in Albany NY, as Etch process engineer and team lead for 6 years, and PDF Solutions for 6 years as principal engineer and co-engagement director on process integration and yield ramping. He also had over 1 year experience (2019-2020) at Intel on 3D NAND development as TD etch manager. Yunpeng holds more than 150 patents on advanced logic process and integration. He received his Bachelor (1999) and MS (2002) degrees from Tsinghua University (Beijing), and PhD degree from MIT in 2007, all with Chemical Engineering major.
