Jae-Dong Lee has more than 27 year experience in semiconductor industry, especially for CMP R&D. He has expertise in slurry engineering, process control and device integration. Currently, he has served as the head of Material R&D Center of KC Tech since 2022. Before joining KC Tech, he worked for Cabot Microelectronics Co. (currently merged to Entegris) as a R&D manager at US headquarter (Illinois, USA) over 7 years. His semiconductor career had started from 1998 by joining Semiconductor R&D Center of Samsung Electronics Co. (SEC) as a CMP engineer. During his Samsung, he participated in lots of R&D activities of CMP technology such as slurry, pad, metrology including equipment H/W and advanced process control (APC). He was also dispatched Belgium IMEC as a CMP assignee of advanced interconnect program for 2 years from 2005 to 2006. Jae-Dong Lee received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Yonsei University and an MS and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
