Prof. Kaichen Dong received a B.E. and a Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University. He did postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley, and then began his faculty appointment at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University. His research interests are mainly focused on smart materials, micro sensors, moiré physics, and AI-for-science. His honor includes MIT Technology Review Top 35 Innovators Under 35 (global list), NSFC Early-Career Award, MINE Young Scientist Award, PIERS Young Scientist Award, and Wiley Star Scientist Award-AI Special Award.
