Dr. Yajun Ha

Yajun Ha received a B.S. degree, M.Eng. degree, and a Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University (China), National University of Singapore (Singapore), and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), respectively, in 1996, 1999, 2004. He is currently a Professor at ShanghaiTech University (China), the Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems—II: Express Briefs (2022–2023), recipient of The Research Fund for International Senior Scientists and International Cooperation and Exchange of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Director of Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Energy Efficient and Custom AI IC. Before this, he is the Director of the I2R-BYD Joint Laboratory, Institute for Infocomm Research (Singapore), and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore. His research interests include FPGA circuits/architectures/tools, ultra-low power digital circuits and systems, and applications of the above research to smart cars, machine learning, and hardware security.
