Linda Li joined Advanced Energy in 2016 and currently serves as Strategic Marketing Director of global PCS products. She has over 15 years experience in semiconductor, automation, and power distribution industry. Linda brings extensive leadership experience on product management and business development in multiple culture and cross-region cooperation. Before joining Advanced Energy, she served marketing and business development roles in GE and Honeywell, and marketing & sales consultant in McKinsey. Linda has a BS degree of electrical engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University and an MBA from The University of Hong Kong.


摘要 / Abstract

Accurate and precise temperature measurement plays a critical role in the control of many compound semiconductor manufacturing processes, from the growth of large bulk crystals to the deposition of ultrathin films. Transient and steady state temperature profiles can determine critical outcomes such as composition, defect densities, film thicknesses, and ultimately production yield. Advanced pyrometry has many advantages for real-time temperature measurement during such processes, including accuracy, repeatability, and fast response time. In this presentation, the use of advanced pyrometer technologies for two important compound semiconductor applications will be discussed - silicon carbide bulk crystal growth by physical vapor transport and epitaxial deposition of GaN/MQW thin films by MOCVD for miniLEDs.
