Lijuan Zhang, Ph.D. supervisor, Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is currently the executive director of the Chinese Society of Particulates, the secretary-general of the Micro-Nano Bubble Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Particulates, the deputy secretary-general of the National Microbubble Technology Standardization Committee. She received her Ph.D in 2007 from Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then she went to Germany for a postdoctor position in Max Planck Institute for Polymer research. From 2009, she works as a senior researcher in Shanghai Synchrotron Facility. She has published more than 100 SCI papers including Nature, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Environmental Science & Technology, Journal of Colloid And Interface Science, and ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces. Her research mainly focuses on the fundamental properties of nanobubbles and their important applications in green cleaning, biology and environment based on nanoimaging and spectroscopy techniques such as synchrotron radiation and atomic force microscopy, etc.
