Dr. Gao graduated from Kyushu University in Japan in 1998 with a PhD in electronic engineering. He has successively served as technical director, deputy general manager in Toshiba, SMIC, Lion etc. and has been engaged in technology research and development of IC manufacturing industry for a long time. The "R&D of 90-65nm Large Scale Integrated Circuit Process" that Dr. Gao was responsible for won the first prize of the Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. This project is the earliest and largest semiconductor large-scale production technology-oriented project in China.
Dr. Gao is one of the leaders in the research and development of logic, power, and analog semiconductor device process technologies in China and currently mainly responsible for initiating the first advanced 300mm CMOS IC design and manufacturing public technology innovation platform synergizing between industry and academia.
