Almost two billion people are using smartphones these days and the number of users grows larger each day. The development of Mobile DRAM has been focused on low power consumption targeting mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs. As rapid growth and propagation makes set makers compete more fiercely, this leads Mobile DRAM vendors to support higher capacity and performance. As a result, Mobile DRAM has higher speed performance and power competitiveness comparing to computing DRAM and its applications are spreading into the PC client, Automotive and IoT markets. This means Mobile DRAM has to consider various applications and operating cases.
