Dr. Han Byung Joon |

Dr. Han Byung Joon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and a member of our Board of Directors since August 2015. He joined us in 1999 as our Chief Technology Officer and was instrumental in driving technology innovation within STATS ChipPAC as well as co-development efforts with leading semiconductor companies and wafer foundries around the world. Under his leadership, STATS ChipPAC established an Intellectual Property (IP) program recognized for its quality and strength among the industry’s top semiconductor manufacturing companies and is the largest patent portfolio held by an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) provider. Dr. Han has served on the Board of Directors for industry organizations such as International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI) and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) as well as several publicly listed companies including Kwang Sung Electronics in Hong Kong, Winstek Semiconductor Corporation in Chinese Taiwan, and Simmtech Co., Ltd. in Korea. Prior to joining STATS ChipPAC, he worked at Anam Semiconductor, AT&T Bell Labs and IBM. Dr. Han received his Doctorate from Columbia University and attended The Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School. |
