Dr. Min-hwa Chi received his BS, MS, and Ph.D in electrical engineering at National Taiwan University, University of Rhode Island, and University of California - Berkeley (1982). He has served VLSI industry in Intel (1982-88), KFI technology (1988-1994), and National Semiconductor (1994-97) in non-volatile and flash memory, imager, and module process development. He joined Tsmc (1997-2004) as Sr. Director in R&D for DRAM and CMOS logic technology development. He joined SMIC since March 2006 as Sr. VP for Corporate Technology Development. He has 104 US patents granted, and 65+ technical papers published in areas of CMOS logic, flash memory, imager, DRAM, and power devices. | |
