Dr. Wen‐Hu Zhao is an integrated circuit design expert and has accumulated more than 20 years industrial experience. As a corporate executives, he was with Chipidea, MIPS, Synopsis, SMIC and other leading semiconductor companies in his career. His research focuses on the field of RF integrated circuit in wireless communication, high‐speed SerDes in modern data transmission
system and low power consumption SoC in IoT.
Dr. Zhao is dedicated to practicing in the leading edge of advanced technologies. During his tenure as vice president at SMIC, Dr. Zhao led multiple departments to further research and accomplish PDK, IP and customized design service in FinFET and , as well as other planar technologies for global customers.
Now, as the key founder, Dr. Zhao is building Ji Cui Xin, a province‐level integrated circuit innovation platform in Jiangsu, to explore a new business model from virtual IDM, and facilitate the industrial application‐oriented integrated circuit innovations for Jiangsu and the Yangtze River Delta region.
Dr. Zhao has 5 domestic and oversea patents and published more than 20
papers including that selected in world class academic journal, ISSCC, ESSCIRC,
SCI and EI.
