Mark Ding 丁辉文

Mark Ding is CEO of SITRI, a leading R&D center in “More than Moore” sectors of IC industry with total investment of over $200M in 8” fab line and technology development. Prior to that, Mr. Ding was president of IMEC China where he successfully expended IMEC business in China. He was VP of sales and marketing of TEL China, contributing to its $500M capital equipment business.

Mark was vice president of SEMI and president of SEMI China. He oversaw all SEMI operations in China and established a foundation for the growth of SEMI in China, in terms of reputation as well as its business.

He also served many management positions in US, including Credence Systems Corporation, Silvaco International, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Flashcomm, and Deutsch Research Inc., Mountain View, California.

He was a founder of two high-tech companies and has extensive knowledge of how to startup company in China.

He graduated from Peking University with a bachelor degree in Physical Chemistry. He also holds a master of science in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, an MBA from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a PhD from Tsinghua University.
