Xiaoming Xie

Dr. XIE Xiaoming received his doctoral degree of engineering in 1990, from the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences (renamed as Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technologies in 2001). He has been appointed as a research professor of the Institute since 1995. As one of the main founders, he initiated the researches in graphene materials and superconducting electronics at SIMIT, and engaged himself in the research of quantum materials and superconducting electronics materials and their applications. He has co-authored more than 300 research papers in academic journals or conferences. He has been granted about 170 patents including 3 PCT patents. He was honored the Fifth China Youth Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of Shanghai Natural Science Peony Award, the First Prize of Shanghai Natural Science Award, and the First Prize of Chinese Society for Optical Engineering.
