Speech Abstract:

Semiconductor Outlook: Change is in the Air

After 21% and 13% growth in 2017 and 2018, Semiconductor market is estimated to lose the growth driving dynamics in 2019 due to the weak demand in memory and mobile chips. In a long term outlook, the growth will see the shift towards commercial applications. AI, 5G and IoT will be the major enablers of new value for semiconductor companies. These emerging technologies will be available on an as needed basis through the edge and cloud.
