Kaiyou Wang, PhD, Professor in Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Director of State Key Laboratory for Superlattices & Microstructure, obtained his PhD in 2005 at School of Physics & Astronomy, University of Nottingham. He then worked as a researcher in Hitachi Cambridge Laboratory. During his stay in UK, he visited twice Institute of Physics, Poland and worked as a visiting professor in Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen. He joined Institute of Semiconductors, CAS in 2009. Currently, he is Director of semiconductor physics committee division, Chinese Physics Society. He is devoted to the spintronics and semiconductor nanodevice physics and has achieved a series of significant research results. Up to now, he has co-author published over 100 research articles with more than 5000 citations. He delivered 35 plenary and invited talks in international and national conferences in recent 5 years. He has won a number of national and international awards.
