Prof. Can Li

Prof. Can Li obtained his Bachelor of Science (Microelectronics) and Master of Science (Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics) at Peking University in Beijing, China. He then received a Ph.D. degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the United States in 2018. Following his doctorate, he joined Hewlett Packard Labs, where he contributed to the development of memristor-based AI accelerators. Subsequently, he moved to Hong Kong and is now serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Institute of Mind at the University of Hong Kong. He is a recipient of Croucher Tak Wah Mak Innovation Award, 2023, NSFC Excellent Young Scientist Fund Award (港澳優青), 2021, UGC Early Career Award, 2021.
