摘要

Compound semiconductor has been widely used in the wireless communication in LNA and PA area due to its high mobility and high efficiency, especially in the handset, WiFi router applications. Recently, GaAs VECSEL applications to consumer market and automotive LiDar have received a lot of attention. High band-gap compound semiconductor demonstrated a high potential in power management and mm-Wave RF applications. These spur a new wave of compound semiconductor in the beyond Moor’s law semiconductor industry. In this talk, a technical overview of compound semiconductor technologies and status reports will be given to address their uniqueness in these applications.
