In the past few years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a subject of intense media hype. Machine learning, deep learning, and AI come up in countless articles, often outside of technology-minded publications. As the AI hype keeps growing, it is important to tell apart world-changing developments from what are merely over-hyped press releases, as well as to be able to find future technology development directions.
This panel tries to answer three questions:
1. What are the possible killer applications and what prevents it from happening?
2. What are the most wanted technologies for AI?
3. What will be the next big thing(s) after Deep Learning?
