Biography Kevin Fairbairn serves as the General Manager of Advanced Energy’s RF Products business. He has over 30 years executive experience in high technology processing equipment addressing semiconductors, photovoltaics, flat panel and hard drive disks application markets. Kevin was CEO and President of Intevac Inc., for almost 11 years. Previously Kevin was VP and GM for Applied Materials Conductor Etch business, following on from his GM responsibility for PECVD. In his 17 years at Applied Materials, Kevin was instrumental in the development of multiple new products and process applications including ion implant, SACVD, HDPCVD, PECVD, low k films, lithography films, integrated metrology, conductor etch and mask etch. Kevin holds a MA in engineering sciences from Cambridge University and has had more than 50 patents granted. |
