Dr. Dong Chen

Dong Chen received his Ph.D degree in physics from Columbia University in 1996. He is a research staff member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center and has been working on the Blue Gene supercomputer project since 2000. His research interests include the architecture and design of Blue Gene systems and their applications. Dr. Chen received two Gordon Bell awards, one in 1998 for the QCDSP project and one in 2006 for QCD on Blue Gene/L. He is an IBM Master Inventor and a member of IEEE.
